If your dog is old enough to understand basic obedience training, then he will be suitable for training with an electronic device. As a general guide this will be in the range of 3-6 months.
6. Why can't I leave the collar receiver on my dog for more than 12 hours?
Any collar receiver worn for extended periods can cause a condition similar to bedsores, known as Pressure Necrosis, especially if it is adjusted too tightly.
