As a guide, the Basic Trainers and UltraSmart Trainers are designed for companion dogs whereas the Advanced Trainers and FieldPro Trainers are designed for working dogs and sporting dogs. Spray collars and Ultrasonic trainers are for owners that prefer not to use static collars, however, these are not as effective as static collars.
